1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Fujifilm Instax 210 Instant Camera. This camera allows you to capture and print vivid, high-quality instant photos. 2. Safety Information

  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the camera.
  • Keep the camera away from water and moisture.
  • Avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods.
  • Use only specified batteries and Instax Wide film.
  • Keep batteries and film out of reach of small children.
  • The flash emits a bright light; avoid direct eye contact, especially with infants.

  • Lens: Captures the image. Features a 95mm focal length.
  • Flash: Automatic low-light flash for proper illumination.
  • Shutter Button: Press to take a photo.
  • Viewfinder: Used for framing your shots.
  • Power Button: Turns the camera on and off.
  • Exposure Control (L/N/D): Adjusts image brightness (Lighten, Normal, Darken).
  • Focus Switch: Selects between two focus zones: 0.9m-3m (close-up) and 3m-infinity (normal/far).

5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the side of the camera.
  2. Insert four AA-size alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2. Film Loading

  1. Open the film compartment cover on the back of the camera.
  2. Align the yellow mark on the film pack with the yellow mark on the camera.
  3. Insert the film pack straight into the compartment. Do not press down on the film pack.
  4. Close the film compartment cover. The camera will automatically eject the black film cover.
  5. The film counter on the LCD will display '10' (or the remaining number of exposures).

5.3. Attaching the Strap

Thread the provided strap through the strap lugs on the camera body. Ensure it is securely fastened to prevent accidental drops.

5.4. Attaching the Close-Up Lens

The included close-up lens can be attached to the camera lens for shooting subjects between 45cm and 90cm. Align the lens with the camera lens and gently press until it clicks into place. Remove by gently pulling it off.

6. Operating the Camera

6.1. Power On/Off

Press the POWER button to turn the camera on. The lens will extend. Press the POWER button again to turn it off and retract the lens.

6.2. Adjusting Focus

Use the focus switch on the side of the camera to select the appropriate range:

  • 0.9m - 3m: For subjects closer to the camera (e.g., portraits, close-ups).
  • 3m - ∞ (infinity): For subjects further away (e.g., landscapes, group shots).

6.3. Exposure Control

The camera features automatic exposure control. You can fine-tune the brightness using the L/N/D buttons:

  • Lighten: Makes the photo brighter.
  • Normal: Standard brightness.
  • Darken: Makes the photo darker.

6.4. Using the Flash

The Instax 210 features an automatic flash that fires in low-light conditions. The flash cannot be completely disabled; it will always activate if the camera detects insufficient ambient light.

6.5. Taking a Photo

  1. Turn on the camera using the POWER button.
  2. Select the appropriate focus range (0.9m-3m or 3m-∞).
  3. Choose your desired exposure setting (Lighten, Normal, Darken) if needed.
  4. Frame your shot using the viewfinder.
  5. Press the Shutter Button to take the picture. The photo will automatically eject from the top of the camera.
  6. Allow the photo to develop naturally. Do not shake or bend the print.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the lens. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
  • Cleaning the Camera Body: Wipe the camera body with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Film Storage: Store unused film packs in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • Battery Care: Remove batteries if the camera will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

8. Troubleshooting
