Introduction

Setup

1. Unboxing and Component Identification

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The J-2000I includes the main steamer unit, a multi-piece support pole, a flexible hose with a wooden handle, and various interchangeable steam heads. A wrench is also included for assembly.

2. Assembly

1. Insert the bottom section of the support pole into the designated opening on the top of the main steamer unit.
2. Assemble the remaining sections of the support pole by screwing them together.
3. Attach the flexible rubber hose to the brass fitting on the main steamer unit. Use the provided wrench to ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
4. Select your desired steam head attachment (e.g., 6-inch wide metal steam head) and securely attach it to the wooden handle of the hose.

3. Water Filling

Remove the water caddy from the steamer unit. Unscrew the check valve cap and fill the caddy with clean tap water. The J-2000I has a 3/4 gallon (2.8 liters) capacity. The water caddy can be refilled during operation for continuous use.

4. Power Connection

Plug the 7-foot power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet. The steamer features a foot-operated power switch with a green indicator light, allowing for convenient on/off control without bending down.

Operating Instructions

1. Initial Heat-Up

Once assembled and filled with water, turn on the steamer using the foot-operated power switch. Allow approximately 1 minute for the unit to heat up and begin producing steam. You will notice steam emerging from the steam head when it's ready.

2. Steaming Garments and Fabrics

Hold the steam head close to the fabric, moving it in an up-and-down motion. For best results, gently pull the fabric taut with your free hand. The metal steam heads can be used to press against the fabric, similar to an iron, to achieve a crisp finish. The rubber hose will become warm during operation, indicating steam flow.

Safety Note: The metal parts of the steam head and the brass fittings will become very hot during operation. Avoid direct contact with these hot surfaces to prevent burns. Always handle the hose by its wooden handle.

3. Using Different Attachments

• 9-inch Bent Aluminum Pipe Head: Ideal for general garment steaming, reaching into tight spaces, and steaming curtains or drapes.
• B Brush Steam Cleaning Head: Designed for cleaning and refreshing upholstery, carpets, and other fabric surfaces.
• 6-inch Wide Metal Steam Head: Provides a broader steaming surface for larger garments and can be used for light pressing.
• 12-inch Wide Carpet Steam Head: Specifically for steaming and refreshing carpets, helping to lift pile and remove odors.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and longevity. Periodically clean the water caddy and the internal components to prevent mineral buildup. 2. Storage
