3. Setup and Charging

Initial Charge:

Before using your ConairMAN All-in-One Trimmer for the first time, it is essential to charge it for a full 16 hours. This ensures optimal battery performance and longevity.

Charging Procedure:

  1. Ensure the trimmer is switched to the 'OFF' position.
  2. Connect the charging adapter to the trimmer's charging port.
  3. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. A red indicator light on the trimmer will illuminate, indicating that the unit is charging. Please note that this light does not change color or turn off when the trimmer is fully charged.
  5. After the initial 16-hour charge, subsequent charges typically require less time, but a full charge is recommended for consistent performance.

Important: This trimmer is designed for cordless operation. It cannot be operated directly from the power outlet while charging. Always unplug the unit before use.

4. Operating Instructions

Attaching and Detaching Trimmer Heads:

To change trimmer heads (e.g., from the main trimmer to the nose/ear trimmer or shaving foil):

  1. Ensure the trimmer is switched 'OFF'.
  2. To remove a head, gently pull it upwards and away from the trimmer body.
  3. To attach a new head, align the desired attachment with the trimmer body. Ensure the white 'drive pin' from the trimmer body is aligned with, and fits into, the corresponding plastic tube in the attachment.
  4. Press firmly until the attachment clicks securely into place. Do not force it if it does not align easily.

Using Guide Combs:

The kit includes a 5-position adjustable comb and 3 jawline combs for various hair lengths.

  • If the battery life is consistently short despite proper charging, the rechargeable battery may require service or replacement.
