5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective use of your motorcycle dolly.
5.1. Loading a Motorcycle
- Prepare Dolly: Place the dolly on a firm, level surface. Ensure the front and rear gates are in the 'down' position, acting as ramp wedges to prevent the dolly from sliding during loading.
- Position Motorcycle: Align your motorcycle directly in front of the dolly. Ensure the motorcycle's kickstand is in the 'up' position.
- Push onto Dolly: Carefully push the motorcycle onto the dolly, guiding both wheels into the track. Maintain control of the motorcycle at all times.
- Engage Kickstand: Once the motorcycle is fully on the dolly, lower its kickstand onto the adjustable kickstand platform.
- Secure with Pins: Insert the provided wheel safety pins into the designated holes at both ends of the dolly to prevent the motorcycle from rolling off.

5.2. Moving the Motorcycle
- Verify Security: Ensure the motorcycle is stable, the kickstand is down on the platform, and the wheel safety pins are in place.
- Disengage Ramps: If the ramp wedges are still down, lift them to allow the caster wheels to move freely.
- Maneuver Dolly: Gently push the motorcycle and dolly to the desired location. The five double caster wheels enable 360-degree movement, allowing for precise positioning in tight spaces.

- Loosen Fasteners: Locate the fasteners securing the kickstand platform to the main dolly track. Loosen these fasteners using appropriate tools.
- Adjust Position: Slide the kickstand platform along the track to the desired position. Ensure it is aligned to provide stable support for your motorcycle's kickstand.
- Re-tighten: Once the platform is in the correct position, securely re-tighten all fasteners. Verify that the platform is firmly attached and does not wobble.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Black Widow MC-DOLLY.
- Fastener Inspection: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and connections for tightness. Re-tighten any loose fasteners to prevent structural instability.
- Caster Wheel Check: Inspect the caster wheels for smooth rotation, wear, or damage. Clean any debris from the wheels and axles. Replace severely worn or damaged casters.
- Cleaning: Clean the dolly regularly with a mild detergent and water. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the powder coating.
- Storage: Store the dolly in a dry, protected environment when not in use to prevent exposure to elements that could cause corrosion.
