  3. Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation.
  4. Connect Power: Insert the detachable power cord into the rice cooker base, then plug the other end into a 120V AC electrical outlet.

  2. Place the rinsed rice into the nonstick inner pot.
  3. Add the appropriate amount of water according to the rice type and desired consistency. A common ratio for white rice is 1 cup of rice to 1.5-2 cups of water. Refer to rice packaging for specific recommendations.
  4. Place the inner pot into the rice cooker base. Ensure it is seated properly.
  5. Close the lid securely. The lid forms an airtight seal.
  6. Press the ON/OFF button to power on the unit.
  7. Select the desired cooking function (e.g., WHITE RICE, BROWN RICE, HOT BREAKFAST, SOUP). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  8. The cooker will automatically begin the cooking cycle. The digital display will show the remaining cooking time.
  9. Once the cooking cycle is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to the KEEP WARM function. The 'KEEP WARM' indicator light will illuminate.
  10. Allow rice to rest on 'KEEP WARM' for 5-10 minutes before serving for best results. Use the rice paddle to fluff and serve.
  11. To turn off the cooker, press the ON/OFF button. Unplug the unit from the wall outlet when not in use.

Using the Steam Function:

  1. Add water to the inner pot (typically 1-2 cups, depending on steaming time).
  2. Place the steaming tray into the inner pot.
  3. Arrange food to be steamed (e.g., vegetables, dumplings) on the steaming tray.
  4. Close the lid.
  5. Press the ON/OFF button, then select the STEAM function.
  6. Use the TIMER up/down arrows to set the desired steaming time.
  7. Press ON/OFF again to start steaming.
  8. Once complete, the unit will switch to KEEP WARM. Carefully remove the lid, avoiding steam.

Using the Delay Timer:

The delay timer allows you to set a specific time for cooking to begin, up to 8 hours in advance.

  1. Prepare ingredients (rice and water, or other food) in the inner pot as usual.
  2. Close the lid.
  3. Press the ON/OFF button.
  4. Select the desired cooking function (e.g., WHITE RICE).
  5. Press the TIMER up/down arrows to set the desired delay time in hours. The display will show the delay time.
  6. Press ON/OFF again to activate the delay timer. The unit will count down the delay time, then automatically begin the selected cooking function.

Care and Cleaning

Proper care and cleaning will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your rice cooker.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the rice cooker from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Inner Pot and Accessories: The nonstick inner pot, steaming tray, rice paddle, and measuring cup are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
  3. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker base with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
  4. Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the rice cooker base, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
  5. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the appliance. Store in a cool, dry place.
