Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
  • Avoid contact with moving parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
  • The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Always ensure the juicer cover is properly and securely fastened before the motor is turned on. Do not unfasten while the juicer is operating.
  • Be sure to turn the switch to the OFF position after each use and ensure the motor stops completely before disassembling.
  • Do not put fingers or other objects into the juicer opening while it is in operation. If food becomes lodged in the opening, use the food pusher provided to push it down. If this method is not possible, turn the motor off and disassemble the juicer to remove the remaining food.

Setup

Before first use, wash all removable parts (clear cover, stainless steel strainer, pulp collector, juice cup, food pusher) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Ensure the motor base is unplugged.

  1. Place the motor base on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
  2. Insert the stainless steel strainer securely onto the motor base. Ensure it clicks into place.
  3. Attach the pulp collector to the back of the motor base, aligning it with the pulp ejection chute.
  4. Place the clear cover over the strainer and motor base, ensuring it is properly aligned and locked into position. The juicer will not operate unless the cover is correctly secured.
  5. Position the 10-ounce juice cup under the juice spout.
  6. Insert the food pusher into the feeding chute opening on the clear cover.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for efficient juicing:

  1. Prepare Fruits and Vegetables: Wash all produce thoroughly. Most fruits and vegetables do not need to be peeled, but remove large seeds (e.g., peaches, plums) and hard pits. Cut larger items into pieces that fit easily into the feeding chute.
  2. Plug In: Plug the juicer into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
  3. Start Juicing: Turn the juicer ON using the control button on the motor base.
  4. Feed Produce: Gradually feed prepared fruits and vegetables into the feeding chute. Use the food pusher to gently guide the produce down. Do not force the food pusher, as this can reduce juice yield and potentially damage the motor.
  5. Collect Juice: Fresh juice will flow from the spout into the juice cup. The pulp will be collected in the pulp collector at the back. The juicer has a 10-ounce capacity for juice.
  6. Continuous Operation: The 400-watt motor is designed for efficient juicing. For optimal performance and motor longevity, avoid continuous operation for more than 1 minute at a time. Allow the appliance to rest for 1 minute between cycles.
  7. Finish Juicing: Once you have finished juicing, turn the appliance OFF and wait for the motor to stop completely before disassembling for cleaning.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your juicer. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.

  • Disassembly: Turn the juicer off and unplug it. Remove the food pusher, clear cover, stainless steel strainer, and pulp collector.
  • Hand Wash Only: All removable parts (clear cover, stainless steel strainer, pulp collector, juice cup, food pusher) should be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.
  • Not Dishwasher Safe: Do not place any parts of the juicer in a dishwasher.
  • Cleaning the Strainer: Use a brush (a small cleaning brush may be included or can be purchased separately) to thoroughly clean the fine mesh of the stainless steel strainer. This is crucial to prevent clogging and maintain juicing efficiency.
  • Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
  • Storage: Once all parts are clean and dry, reassemble the juicer or store the parts in a dry, safe place. Utilize the convenient cord storage feature on the motor base.

ProblemPossible CauseSolution

Loud noise or vibration.Improper assembly of parts; appliance on an uneven surface.Disassemble and reassemble all parts, ensuring they are securely locked. Place the juicer on a stable, flat surface.
