Setup

1. Insert the Game Disc: Open the disc slot on your Wii console and gently insert the New Super Mario Bros Wii game disc with the label facing up. Close the disc slot.
2. Connect Wii Remote: Ensure your Wii Remote(s) are properly synced with your Wii console. If not, press the SYNC button inside the battery compartment of the Wii Remote and then the SYNC button on the Wii console (usually behind the front panel).
