4. Parts Identification

4.1. Transmitter

5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

5.2. Connecting to Camera

  1. Attach the receiver to your camera's hot shoe mount. This is optional but provides a secure attachment.
  2. Connect one end of the 1C connection cable to the receiver's camera connection port.
  3. Connect the other end of the 1C connection cable to your camera's remote control terminal. Refer to your camera's manual for the exact location of this port.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Powering On/Off

  • To power on the transmitter and receiver, slide their respective power switches to the "ON" position.
  • To power off, slide the switches to the "OFF" position.

6.2. Wireless Shutter Release

The Pro Coworker operates on a 422Mhz frequency, providing a range of up to 135 feet, even through walls, floors, and ceilings.

  1. Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on.
  2. Point the transmitter towards the receiver (though direct line of sight is not strictly required due to RF technology).
  3. Autofocus: Half-press the shutter button on the transmitter. The camera will autofocus.
  4. Single Shot: Fully press the shutter button on the transmitter to take a single photograph.
  5. Continuous Shooting: For continuous shooting, refer to your camera's manual for setting continuous shooting mode. Then, fully press and hold the shutter button on the transmitter.
  6. Bulb Mode: For long exposures using Bulb mode, set your camera to Bulb mode. Fully press and hold the shutter button on the transmitter to open the shutter. Release the button to close the shutter.

6.3. Wired Shutter Release (Optional)

The receiver can also function as a wired remote. Simply connect the 1C cable directly from the receiver to your camera, and use the shutter button on the receiver itself.

This remote replaces the Canon RS 60-E3 Shutter Release.

8. Maintenance
