3.2 Component Installation
- Install Motherboard: Align your E-ATX, ATX, or Micro ATX motherboard with the standoffs on the motherboard tray. Secure it with screws.
- Install Power Supply: Place the power supply unit (PSU) at the bottom of the case. Decide whether to orient it with the fan facing up (drawing air from inside the case) or down (drawing air from outside the case via the bottom vent). Secure with screws.
- Install Storage Drives:
- 5.25" Optical Drives: Use the thumb screw design for easy, tool-less installation into the external 5.25" bays.
- 3.5" Hard Drives: Utilize the internal 3.5" bays, also featuring thumb screw design for quick installation.
- Install Expansion Cards: Remove the necessary PCI slot covers. Insert your graphics card(s) or other expansion cards and secure them. The case supports long graphic cards.
- Cable Management: Route all power cables and data cables behind the motherboard tray through the pre-drilled holes. This improves airflow and keeps the interior tidy.
- Connect Front Panel Cables: Connect the USB, eSATA, audio, power switch, reset switch, and LED indicator cables from the case's front panel to the appropriate headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific pinouts.

4.2 Fan Control
The AZZA Solano 1000 features a 230mm top fan with a 3-speed switch control. This switch allows you to adjust the fan speed to balance cooling performance and noise levels according to your preference. Locate the fan speed switch, typically near the top I/O panel, and select your desired setting.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PC case and its components.
- Dust Cleaning: Periodically clean dust filters and internal components. Dust accumulation can impede airflow and lead to overheating. Use compressed air to blow out dust from fans, heatsinks, and mesh panels.
- Fan Inspection: Check all case fans (230mm top, 230mm side, 140mm front, 120mm rear) for proper operation. Ensure they spin freely and are not obstructed.
- Cable Management Check: Occasionally verify that cables remain neatly routed and do not interfere with fan blades or airflow.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the case with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your AZZA Solano 1000 case.
6.1 No Power / System Not Booting
- Check Power Connections: Ensure the power supply is securely connected to the wall outlet and the motherboard (24-pin ATX and 8-pin CPU power).
- Front Panel Connectors: Verify that the power switch cable from the case is correctly connected to the motherboard's front panel header.
- PSU Switch: Confirm the power switch on the back of the power supply is in the "ON" position.
6.2 Fans Not Spinning / LED Not Lighting Up
- Fan Connections: Ensure all fan power cables are securely connected to the motherboard fan headers or a fan controller.
- Top Fan Switch: For the 230mm top fan, check its 3-speed switch to ensure it's not set to "OFF" or a very low speed.
- LED Connections: Verify that any LED power cables are properly connected.
6.3 USB / Audio Ports Not Working
- Front Panel Header Connections: Double-check that the USB and audio cables from the case's top panel are correctly plugged into the corresponding USB and audio headers on your motherboard.
