Setup
1. Charging the Units
Both the collar receiver and the remote transmitter are equipped with rechargeable NiMH batteries. It is recommended to fully charge both units before initial use.
- Connect the battery charger to a power outlet.
- Use the splitter cable to connect both the collar receiver and the remote transmitter to the charger.
- The Smart LED indicator on each unit will show charging status. Charge until the indicator shows a full charge.
- Typical recharge time is approximately 2-3 hours.
2. Attaching the Antenna (Transmitter)
Screw the provided antenna securely onto the top of the remote transmitter.
3. Fitting the Collar Receiver
Proper fit of the collar receiver is crucial for effective operation. The collar adjusts from 8 to 23 inches to fit most dog sizes and breeds.
- Place the collar around your dog's neck so that the contact points touch the skin.
- Ensure a snug fit, allowing only one or two fingers to slide comfortably under the collar.
- The collar should not be too tight to cause discomfort, nor too loose to move around and lose contact.
- The MAXX-Range 360 Internal FM Antenna System is embedded within the collar belt, ensuring optimal signal reception.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
- Collar Receiver: The collar features a built-in waterproof magnetic ON/OFF system. Refer to the specific instructions in your package for activation.
- Remote Transmitter: Use the designated power button or switch to turn the transmitter on or off.
2. Stimulation Levels and Modes
The H2O1820 Plus offers 16 levels of "Gentle Touch" stimulation, along with a Vibration Assist mode.
- Nick Stimulation: Delivers a brief, momentary stimulation.
- Continuous Stimulation: Delivers stimulation for as long as the button is pressed, up to 8 seconds.
- Vibration Assist: Provides an audible vibration from the collar, serving as a non-shock alternative stimulus. This can be used independently or in conjunction with stimulation (Vib+Stim).
- Adjust the stimulation level using the dial or buttons on the remote transmitter to suit your dog's temperament and training needs. Start at the lowest effective level.

3. Range and Signal
The system provides an impressive 1-mile (1800-yard) range, utilizing MAXX-Range 360 technology for reliable FM signal reception across various terrains. Maintain a clear line of sight for optimal performance, though the system is designed to minimize signal loss.
4. Expanding to Multiple Dogs
The H2O1820 Plus system is expandable to control up to two or three dogs with additional Add-On collar units (sold separately). Refer to the Add-On collar's specific instructions for pairing with your existing transmitter.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Both the collar and transmitter are 100% waterproof. After use, especially in saltwater environments, it is recommended to rinse the collar receiver with fresh water to prevent corrosion around the charging port and contact points. Ensure the rubber cover for the charging port is properly sealed.
2. Battery Care
- Avoid overcharging the batteries, especially if storing the units for extended periods.
- Store the units in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- The Smart LED indicator will help monitor battery levels.
