Setup

Operating Instructions

Basic Playback

  1. Power On: Press the POWER button on the front panel. The display will illuminate.
  2. Load Disc: Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray. Place a CD (audio CD or MP3 CD) into the tray with the label side up. Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the tray.
  3. Play/Pause: Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start or pause playback.
  4. Track Selection: Use the TRACK SEARCH buttons (<< / >>) to navigate between tracks.
  5. Fast Forward/Rewind: Hold down the TRACK SEARCH buttons during playback to fast forward or rewind within a track.

Advanced Features

  • Pitch Control: Adjust the playback speed using the PITCH slider. The XCP-1400 offers pitch regulation of ±4%, ±8%, and ±16%.
  • Jog Wheel: The illuminated jog wheel can be used for precise cueing and scratching effects. Rotate it to fine-tune track position or for scratching.
