Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover, typically on one of the earcups.
  2. Gently slide or lift the cover to open the compartment.
  3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.

Note: For optimal performance and battery life, use high-quality alkaline AAA batteries. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.

Initial Power On

After installing batteries, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the display illuminates. The radio will typically power on to the last tuned station or a default frequency.

Operating Instructions

Tuning to Radio Stations

  1. Select Band: Press the "M" (Mode) button to switch between AM and FM bands. The selected band will be shown on the display.
  2. Automatic Scan: Press the "Tune Up" or "Tune Down" button briefly to automatically scan for the next available station.
  3. Manual Tuning: Press and hold the "Tune Up" or "Tune Down" button to manually adjust the frequency in small increments. Release the button when you reach the desired frequency.

Setting and Recalling Presets

The headset radio allows you to store up to 10 AM and 10 FM stations for quick access.

  1. To Store a Station:
    • Tune to the desired AM or FM station.
    • Press and hold the "Memory" button until the preset number flashes on the display.
    • Use the "Tune Up" or "Tune Down" buttons to select the desired preset number (1-10).
    • Press the "Memory" button again to confirm and save the station to the selected preset.
  2. To Recall a Station:
    • Press the "Preset" button repeatedly to cycle through your stored stations.
    • Alternatively, use the "Tune Up" or "Tune Down" buttons after a short press of the "Preset" button to navigate through presets.

Adjusting Volume

Use the dedicated Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons, typically located on the earcup, to adjust the listening level.

Using the Button Lock

To prevent accidental changes to the station or volume, activate the button lock feature. Locate the "Lock" switch or button and slide/press it to the locked position. The display may show a lock icon. To unlock, slide/press it back to the unlocked position.

Auxiliary Input (Wired Headset Function)

Your headset radio can also function as a pair of wired headphones. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from your external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the auxiliary input jack on the headset. The radio function will typically be disabled automatically when an auxiliary cable is connected.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the headset with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
