LAICA Stream Line Filter Jug - 2.3L White with Digital Timer and Bi-Flux Filter

User Instruction Manual

1. Introduction

The LAICA Stream Line Filter Jug is designed to provide healthy, balanced, and sustainable hydration by filtering tap water. Unlike some filters that remove beneficial minerals, the bi-flux filter preserves essential mineral salts like calcium, magnesium, and potassium, while reducing unwanted substances such as chlorine and heavy metals. This product is manufactured in Italy, ensuring high quality and attention to detail.

The jug has a total capacity of 2.3 liters and a filtered water capacity of 1.2 liters. Its compact design allows for convenient storage in refrigerator doors.

2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Wash the jug, lid, and funnel with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly. The filter cartridge should not be washed with soap.

2.2 Filter Cartridge Preparation and Installation

  1. Remove the bi-flux filter cartridge from its protective packaging.
  2. Immerse the filter cartridge completely in cold water for approximately 15 minutes, gently shaking it to remove any air bubbles. This step is crucial for activating the filter and ensuring optimal performance.
  3. Insert the prepared filter cartridge firmly into the funnel of the jug. Ensure it is securely seated.
  4. Fill the jug with tap water. Allow the water to filter through. Discard the first two filtered batches of water. This primes the filter and removes any loose carbon particles.
  5. The filter is now ready for use.

  2. The timer will count down the filter's lifespan (typically 30 days or 150 liters), indicating the remaining percentage.
