4.2 Wireless Outdoor Sensor

The wireless sensor transmits outdoor temperature data to the main unit. It is designed for outdoor use but should be protected from direct rain and sunlight.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Main Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 2x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment. The display will light up.
  2. Wireless Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the back of the wireless sensor. Insert 2x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment. The red LED on the sensor may flash briefly.

Important: Always insert batteries into the main unit first, then into the wireless sensor to ensure proper synchronization.

5.2 Sensor Placement

5.3 Initial Synchronization and Time Setting

After battery installation, the main unit will automatically attempt to synchronize with the DCF-77 radio signal for accurate time. This process may take several minutes.

6.1 Time Display

The current time is displayed prominently on the main unit. The radio-controlled feature ensures accuracy.

6.3 Weather Forecast

The weather station provides a forecast for the next 12-24 hours based on atmospheric pressure changes. Icons such as sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, or rainy will be displayed. A trend arrow may also indicate rising or falling pressure.

6.4 Alarm Function

  1. Setting the Alarm: Press and hold the "ALARM" button until the alarm time flashes. Use the "SET" and "+" buttons to adjust the hour and minute. Press "ALARM" to confirm each setting.
  2. Activating/Deactivating Alarm: Briefly press the "ALARM" button to toggle the alarm on or off. An alarm icon will appear on the display when activated.
  3. Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, press any button (except "RESET") to activate snooze. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5 minutes. To stop the alarm completely, press the "RESET" button.
