The wireless sensor transmits outdoor temperature data to the main unit. It is designed for outdoor use but should be protected from direct rain and sunlight.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

Main Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 2x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment. The display will light up.
Wireless Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the back of the wireless sensor. Insert 2x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment. The red LED on the sensor may flash briefly.

Important: Always insert batteries into the main unit first, then into the wireless sensor to ensure proper synchronization.

5.2 Sensor Placement

Main Unit: Place the main unit indoors, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to ensure accurate indoor temperature readings. It can be placed on a tabletop or mounted on a wall.
Outdoor Sensor: Mount the wireless sensor in a shaded, dry location outdoors, protected from direct rain and sunlight. Ensure it is within the transmission range of the main unit (typically up to 30 meters in open air, less with obstacles). Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electrical appliances that could interfere with the signal.

5.3 Initial Synchronization and Time Setting

After battery installation, the main unit will automatically attempt to synchronize with the DCF-77 radio signal for accurate time. This process may take several minutes.

Radio Control Icon: A radio tower icon will appear on the display when the signal is successfully received.
Time Zone Adjustment: If your location is not in the standard time zone for the DCF-77 signal, you may need to adjust the time zone. Press the "SET" button repeatedly until the time zone setting flashes. Use the "+" button to adjust the offset (± 12 hours). Press "SET" again to confirm.
Manual Time Setting: In areas where the radio signal is weak or unavailable, you can set the time manually. Refer to the "Operating Instructions" section for manual time adjustment.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Time Display

The current time is displayed prominently on the main unit. The radio-controlled feature ensures accuracy.

6.2 Temperature Display

Indoor Temperature: The temperature measured by the main unit is displayed as "INDOOR".
Outdoor Temperature: The temperature transmitted by the wireless sensor is displayed as "OUTDOOR".
Min/Max Records: Press the "MIN/MAX" button to cycle through the minimum and maximum recorded indoor and outdoor temperatures since the last reset. To reset these records, hold the "MIN/MAX" button for a few seconds while the min/max values are displayed.
Temperature Unit: To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press the "+" button when not in setting mode.

6.3 Weather Forecast

The weather station provides a forecast for the next 12-24 hours based on atmospheric pressure changes. Icons such as sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, or rainy will be displayed. A trend arrow may also indicate rising or falling pressure.

6.4 Alarm Function

Setting the Alarm: Press and hold the "ALARM" button until the alarm time flashes. Use the "SET" and "+" buttons to adjust the hour and minute. Press "ALARM" to confirm each setting.
Activating/Deactivating Alarm: Briefly press the "ALARM" button to toggle the alarm on or off. An alarm icon will appear on the display when activated.
Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, press any button (except "RESET") to activate snooze. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5 minutes. To stop the alarm completely, press the "RESET" button.

7. Maintenance

Battery Replacement: When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries in both the main unit and the outdoor sensor. Always replace all batteries at the same time.
Cleaning: Clean the unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.

8. Troubleshooting
