Setup
Unpacking

Initial Key Use
Your SentrySafe UC-039K comes with two sets of keys. Both keys are required to open the safe.
- Insert the first key into the upper lock.
- Insert the second key into the lower lock.
- Turn both keys simultaneously to unlock the safe door.
- Open the door and remove any internal packaging or accessories.
Mounting the Safe (Bolt Down)
For enhanced security, it is recommended to bolt the safe to a secure surface. A bolt-down kit is included.

- Open the safe door and locate the pre-drilled anchor holes on the bottom interior.
- Mark the drilling points on the floor through the anchor holes.
- Drill pilot holes into the floor using an appropriate drill bit for your surface type.
- Position the safe over the drilled holes.
- Insert the provided bolts through the safe's anchor holes and into the floor.
- Tighten the bolts securely to firmly anchor the safe.

Depositing Items
The safe features a steel drop slot for convenient deposits without needing to open the main door.
- Place cash, envelopes, or small documents into the drop slot located at the top of the safe.
- Ensure items fall completely into the safe's interior. The anti-fish hopper mechanism prevents items from being retrieved through the slot.
Opening the Safe
To access the contents of the safe, both keys are required.
- Insert the first key into the upper lock and the second key into the lower lock.
- Turn both keys simultaneously to the unlock position.
- Pull the safe door open.
Closing and Locking the Safe
- Close the safe door firmly.
- Turn both keys simultaneously to the lock position.
- Remove both keys. Ensure the door is securely latched by attempting to pull it open.
Maintenance
