Safety Information
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent damage to the speaker or injury to yourself:
- Ensure all power to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning any wiring or installation work.
- Use appropriate safety gear, including eye protection and gloves, during installation.
- Verify that the mounting surface (ceiling or wall) can safely support the weight of the speaker.
- Do not expose the speaker to excessive moisture or extreme temperatures. While designed with moisture-resistant materials, it is not waterproof.
- Use only recommended speaker wire gauges for connections to prevent overheating or poor performance.
- If you are unsure about any part of the installation process, consult a qualified electrician or audio installer.

Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your TSS8A speaker:
1. Location Selection
Choose a suitable location in your ceiling or wall. The 15-degree angle of the speaker is designed to direct sound towards your primary listening area. Consider the optimal placement for your specific audio setup (e.g., front, rear, or center channel).
2. Preparing the Opening
- Turn off power to the installation area at the circuit breaker.
- Use a stud finder to ensure there are no obstructions (studs, wires, pipes) in the chosen location.
- Place the provided cut-out template on the ceiling/wall at your desired location.
- Trace the inner circle of the template onto the surface. The recommended cut-out diameter is 10.375 inches.
- Carefully cut along the traced line using a drywall saw or rotary tool. Ensure the cut is clean and precise. Some users have found that the hole may need to be slightly widened beyond the inner circle of the template for a flush fit; a Dremel sanding bit can be useful for fine adjustments.

3. Wiring
Run speaker wire (recommended 16-gauge or thicker for longer runs) from your amplifier/receiver to the cut-out opening.
- Strip approximately 0.5 inches of insulation from the ends of the speaker wires.
- Connect the wires to the spring-loaded binding posts on the back of the speaker. Ensure correct polarity: positive (+) from the amplifier to positive (+) on the speaker (typically red), and negative (-) from the amplifier to negative (-) on the speaker (typically black).

4. Mounting the Speaker
The TSS8A features an integrated wall-lock mounting system (dog legs) for easy installation.
- Carefully insert the speaker into the cut-out opening.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver, tighten the mounting screws located on the front baffle of the speaker. As you tighten, the dog legs will swing out and clamp firmly onto the drywall.
- Tighten until the speaker is snug and flush with the ceiling/wall surface. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the drywall or the speaker frame. It is normal to hear a slight
