Setup

Follow these steps to set up your tom stand:

  1. Unfold the Legs: Carefully unfold the double-braced legs of the stand until they are fully extended and stable. Ensure the stand is placed on a flat, level surface.
  2. Adjust Height: Loosen the height adjustment clamp on the main shaft. Extend or retract the upper section to your desired height. This stand is designed to go lower than many other Yamaha double tom stands, making it ideal for hanging floor toms. Tighten the clamp securely once the desired height is achieved.
  3. Attach the 3-Hole Receiver: The 3-hole receiver is designed to accept compatible tom holders or cymbal arms (not included). Insert the receiver into the top tube of the stand and secure it with the provided clamp.
  4. Mount Toms/Cymbals: Insert your tom holders or cymbal arms into the holes of the receiver. Adjust their positions and angles as needed, then tighten their respective clamps to secure them firmly.
