2. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the toaster from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or disposal.
- Placement: Place the toaster on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface, away from flammable materials such as curtains or walls. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
- First Use: Before toasting bread for the first time, operate the toaster without bread for a few cycles at the highest browning setting (6) to burn off any manufacturing residues. This may produce a slight odor and smoke, which is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet (230V).
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Toasting Bread
- Insert up to two slices of bread into the toasting slots. The toaster features an automatic bread centering system for even browning.
- Select the desired browning level using the browning control dial (1 for light toast, 6 for dark toast).
- Press the lever down until it locks into place. The toasting process will begin, and the cancel button's indicator light will illuminate.
- Once the selected browning level is reached, the toast will automatically pop up, and the heating elements will switch off.
- To stop the toasting process at any time, press the cancel button.

5.2. Defrosting Bread
This function allows you to toast frozen bread directly.
- Insert frozen bread slices into the toasting slots.
- Select the desired browning level.
- Press the lever down.
- Press the defrost button (snowflake icon). Its indicator light will illuminate.
- The toaster will automatically adjust the toasting time for frozen bread.
5.3. Reheating Bread/Pastries
Use the integrated bun warmer for reheating rolls, croissants, or other pastries.
- Place the items to be reheated on the integrated bun warmer.
- Press the lever down.
- Press the reheat button (wavy lines icon). Its indicator light will illuminate.
- The toaster will gently warm the items. Monitor the process to prevent burning.
- To stop, press the cancel button or wait for the cycle to complete.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.
- Always unplug the toaster from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Crumb Tray: Pull out the crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster. Empty crumbs and wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth. Reinsert the tray securely.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can scratch the stainless steel finish.
- Interior: Never insert any objects into the toasting slots to clean them. Do not turn the toaster upside down to shake out crumbs, as this can damage the heating elements.
- Storage: When not in use, the power cord can be wrapped around the cord storage facility at the base of the toaster. Store the toaster in a dry place.
