Setup

1. Power Connection

  1. Locate the AC power adapter.
  2. Insert the small end of the AC power adapter into the DC IN jack on the back of the speaker system.
  3. Plug the other end of the AC power adapter into a standard electrical wall outlet.
  4. The unit is now powered and ready for use.

2. Docking an iPod/iPhone

The speaker system features a universal dock for compatible Apple iPod and iPhone devices. Ensure your device is compatible before docking.

  1. Carefully align your iPod or iPhone with the dock connector located in the center of the speaker system's top panel.
  2. Gently push the device down until it is securely seated in the dock.
  3. The device will begin charging automatically if the speaker system is powered on.

3. Connecting Other Audio Devices (Auxiliary Input)

To connect other audio devices such as MP3 players, CD players, or computers, use the 3.5mm auxiliary input jack.

  1. Obtain a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
  2. Plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the AUX IN jack on the back of the speaker system.
  3. Plug the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

  • Press the POWER button (usually located on the top panel) to turn the unit on or off.

2. Volume Control

  • Use the VOLUME + and VOLUME - buttons on the speaker system to adjust the audio output level.
  • For docked devices, you may also adjust the volume directly on the iPod/iPhone.

3. Playing Audio from Docked Device

  • Ensure your iPod or iPhone is properly docked and the speaker system is powered on.
  • Start playback on your docked device. Audio will be routed through the speaker system.
  • The speaker system will also charge the docked device during operation.

4. Playing Audio from Auxiliary Input

  • Ensure your external audio device is connected to the AUX IN jack.
  • Power on the speaker system.
  • Start playback on your external audio device.
  • Adjust the volume using the speaker system's volume controls and/or the external device's volume controls.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Before cleaning, ensure the speaker system is powered off and unplugged from the electrical outlet.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the unit.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
  • Avoid getting moisture into any openings.

Storage

  • When not in use for extended periods, unplug the unit from the power source.
  • Store the speaker system in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
