Setup
Battery Installation
The CDN DT450X thermometer comes with one LR44 battery included. To install or replace the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the thermometer.
- Use a small coin to twist open the battery cover.
- Insert the LR44 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Replace the battery cover and twist to secure it.
Initial Power On and Unit Selection
After battery installation, press the ON/OFF button to power on the thermometer. To switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), press the °F/°C button located on the front panel.
