Setup

1. Unpacking and Contents

Carefully unpack the device and check for all components. The package should contain the blood pressure monitor, an upper arm cuff (M size, 22-32 cm), a carrying bag, and 4 AA batteries.

2. Battery Installation

Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device. Insert the four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment. Close the cover securely.

3. Connecting the Cuff

Insert the air tube connector of the cuff firmly into the air jack located on the side of the blood pressure monitor.

1. Ensure your arm is bare or has only thin clothing.
2. Place the cuff on your upper left arm, approximately 2-3 cm (about 1 inch) above the elbow joint. The air tube should run down the inside of your arm towards your hand.
3. The artery mark on the cuff (if present) should be positioned over your main artery on the inside of your arm.
4. Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm, but not too tightly. You should be able to fit two fingers underneath the cuff.
5. Sit comfortably with your back supported and your feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.

Operating Instructions

1. Taking a Measurement

1. Ensure the cuff is correctly placed and you are in a relaxed position.
2. Press the ON/OFF button (usually marked with a power symbol ⏻). The display will show all segments briefly, then '0'.
3. The cuff will automatically inflate. Remain still and do not talk during the measurement.
4. Once the measurement is complete, the systolic (SYS), diastolic (DIA) blood pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed. If an irregular heartbeat is detected, the PAD symbol will appear.
5. Press the ON/OFF button again to turn off the device. If you do not turn it off, it will automatically shut down after approximately 1 minute.

• SYS (Systolic Blood Pressure): The highest pressure in your arteries when your heart beats.
• DIA (Diastolic Blood Pressure): The lowest pressure in your arteries when your heart rests between beats.
