Setup and Wiring Instructions

1. Disassembly

1. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, loosen the quick screws on the faceplate.
2. Carefully remove the faceplate from the body housing.

2. Cable Preparation

1. Feed the cable through the strain relief and then through the body housing.
2. Strip the cord jacket to approximately 1.5 inches, referring to the diagram on the instruction sheet for precise measurements.
3. Cut the green (ground) wire to be approximately 1 inch long using wire strippers.
4. Strip all remaining wires (typically black, red, orange, white) approximately 5/8 of an inch.

3. Wiring Connections

1. Loosen all terminal screws on the faceplate. The green ground screw is located in the center.
2. Insert the green (ground) wire into the wire well of the green ground terminal and tighten the terminal screw securely.
3. Insert the white (neutral) wire into the wire well of the silver terminal and tighten the terminal screw securely.
4. Insert the remaining three wires (typically black, red, orange for 3-phase) into the wire wells of the brass terminals and tighten the terminal screws securely.

4. Reassembly

1. Align the channel guide on the body housing with the faceplate and slide the faceplate into the body housing.
2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, tighten the quick screws on the faceplate to secure it to the body housing.
3. Tighten both strain relief screws on the cable to ensure a secure connection and prevent cable pull-out.

Accommodating Larger Wires

If your wire is larger than the groove on the strain relief, a section of the strain relief can be removed to accommodate larger wire gauges.

Operating Instructions
