Product Components

Familiarize yourself with the parts of your deep fryer:

  • Stainless Steel Housing: The main body of the fryer.
  • Removable Oil Pot: Holds the cooking oil.
  • Heating Element: Submerged in oil to heat it.
  • Control Panel: Includes temperature dial and indicator lights.
  • Frying Basket with Handle: For lowering and lifting food.
  • Lid with Viewing Window and Odor Filter: Covers the oil pot during frying, allows monitoring, and helps reduce odors.
  • Magnetic Power Cord: Safety feature for easy detachment.

Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the frying basket, handle, and lid in warm, soapy water. The removable oil pot can also be washed. Wipe the stainless steel housing and heating element with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly.
  3. Assemble: Place the removable oil pot into the stainless steel housing. Insert the heating element securely into its designated slot. Attach the frying basket handle to the basket.
  4. Placement: Position the deep fryer on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface, away from the edge of the counter and out of reach of children. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
  5. Add Oil: Pour cooking oil (suitable for deep frying) into the removable oil pot. Fill between the MIN and MAX fill lines indicated inside the pot. Do not overfill or underfill. The oil capacity is 3.5 liters.
  6. Connect Power: Attach the magnetic power cord to the fryer's receptacle, then plug the cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Food: Ensure food items are dry before frying to prevent oil splattering. Cut food into uniform pieces for even cooking.
  2. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature control dial to your desired frying temperature, up to 375°F (190°C). Refer to a recipe or food packaging for recommended temperatures.
  3. Preheat Oil: The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the fryer is heating. Allow the oil to preheat completely. This may take 10-15 minutes depending on the oil volume and desired temperature. The indicator light will turn off when the set temperature is reached.
  4. Load Basket: Place food into the frying basket. Do not overload the basket, as this can lower oil temperature and result in soggy food.
  5. Lower Basket: Carefully and slowly lower the loaded basket into the hot oil. Use the handle to avoid direct contact with hot oil.
  6. Fry Food: Close the lid. Monitor the cooking process through the viewing window. The odor control filter helps minimize cooking smells. Fry for the recommended time or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove Food: Once cooked, carefully lift the basket out of the oil and hook it onto the basket rest inside the fryer to allow excess oil to drain.
  8. Serve: Transfer fried food to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any remaining oil.
  9. Turn Off: After use, turn the temperature dial to the "OFF" position and unplug the magnetic power cord from the wall outlet.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your deep fryer.

  1. Cool Down: Always allow the deep fryer and oil to cool completely before cleaning. This can take several hours.
  2. Drain Oil: Once cooled, carefully pour the used oil into a suitable container for disposal or storage. Do not pour oil down the drain.
  3. Disassemble: Remove the lid, frying basket, handle, and removable oil pot.
  4. Dishwasher Safe Parts: The frying basket, handle, and lid are dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning.
  5. Hand Wash Parts: The removable oil pot can be hand washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  6. Clean Housing & Heating Element: Wipe the stainless steel housing and the heating element with a damp cloth. For stubborn residue, use a mild detergent. Ensure the heating element is never immersed in water.
  7. Odor Filter: Check the odor filter in the lid. Replace if necessary, following manufacturer guidelines.
  8. Storage: Reassemble the clean and dry fryer. Store in a cool, dry place.
