4. Setup

1. Hose Connection: Attach a suitable discharge hose to the angled connection piece. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent leaks. The multi-adapter allows for various hose diameters.
2. Placement: Place the pump on a stable, level surface in the water to be pumped. Ensure the pump is fully submerged and not resting on debris that could block the intake.
3. Float Switch Adjustment: Adjust the float switch cable length to set the desired ON/OFF water levels for automatic operation. A shorter cable results in a smaller operating range (pump turns on and off more frequently), while a longer cable provides a wider range.

5.1 Automatic Operation (with Float Switch)

• Ensure the float switch is set to "AUTO" on the power plug.
• The pump will automatically start when the water level rises and lifts the float switch.
• The pump will automatically stop when the water level drops and the float switch falls below the set level.
• Regularly check the float switch for free movement and ensure it is not obstructed.

5.2 Manual Operation (for Flat Suction)

• Set the switch on the power plug to "MAN" (Manual).
• The pump will operate continuously, regardless of the water level, until manually switched off or unplugged.
• This mode is ideal for flat suction down to 1 mm in clear water applications.
• CAUTION: Do not allow the pump to run dry in manual mode, as this can cause severe damage to the motor. Monitor the water level closely.
