5. Setup

5.1 Connecting to a Television

Choose one of the following connection methods based on your television's available inputs:

HDMI Connection (Recommended for 1080p Upconversion)

  1. Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI OUT port on the rear of the DVD player.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an HDMI IN port on your television.
  3. Select the corresponding HDMI input on your television using its remote control.

Composite AV Connection

  1. Connect the yellow RCA plug of the AV cable to the VIDEO OUT port on the DVD player.
  2. Connect the red and white RCA plugs of the AV cable to the AUDIO L and AUDIO R OUT ports on the DVD player.
  3. Connect the other ends of the yellow, red, and white RCA plugs to the corresponding VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN ports on your television.
  4. Select the corresponding AV input on your television using its remote control.

5.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cable to the AC IN port on the rear of the DVD player.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard AC wall outlet (100-240V, 50/60Hz).
