5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your DVS-400S DVI Video Splitter:
- Power Off Devices: Ensure all DVI source devices (e.g., computer, DVD player) and DVI display devices (e.g., monitors, projectors) are powered off before making any connections.
- Connect Source: Connect a DVI cable from your DVI source device to the DVI IN port on the DVS-400S unit.
- Connect Displays: Connect DVI cables from the DVI OUT ports (1-4) on the DVS-400S unit to your DVI display devices.
- Connect Power: Plug the supplied power adapter into the DC 5V power jack on the DVS-400S unit, then plug the adapter into a standard AC power outlet.
- Power On: Power on the DVS-400S unit. The power indicator LED should illuminate. Then, power on your DVI display devices, followed by your DVI source device.
