Setup
- Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the jack on the left side of the phone base.
- Connect the Telephone Line Cord: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the phone base and the other end into your telephone wall jack.
- Install Batteries (for Caller ID/Display): Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the phone. Insert four AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings. Close the compartment. These batteries power the Caller ID display and other features.
- Connect AC Power (Optional for full features): If an AC adapter is included, plug it into the power jack on the phone base and then into a standard electrical outlet. This is typically required for the Caller ID display and other advanced features.
- Optional Wall Mounting: The phone can be mounted on a wall using the included wall mount bracket. Attach the bracket to the wall, then slide the phone onto the bracket. Ensure the handset hook is reversed to securely hold the handset when wall-mounted.

Operating Instructions
Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call: Lift the handset or press the SPEAKER button. Dial the desired phone number.
- To Receive a Call: Lift the handset or press the SPEAKER button when the phone rings.
- To End a Call: Place the handset back on the cradle or press the SPEAKER button if using speakerphone.
Speakerphone Function
The integrated speakerphone allows for hands-free conversations.
- Activate Speakerphone: Press the SPEAKER button to answer a call or initiate a call without lifting the handset.
- Adjust Speaker Volume: Use the VOLUME ▲/▼ buttons during a speakerphone call to adjust the listening volume.
Caller ID and Call Waiting
When subscribed to Caller ID service, the phone displays the caller's name and number.
- View Call Log: Press the CALL LIST ▲/▼ buttons to scroll through the list of incoming calls. The phone stores up to 65 names in its Caller ID history.
- Call Waiting: If you subscribe to Call Waiting service, a tone will alert you to an incoming call while you are on another call. Press the FLASH button to switch between calls.
Memory Dialing (Speed Dial)
Store frequently dialed numbers for quick access using the 14-number memory slots.
- To Store a Number:
- Press PROG.
- Enter the phone number you wish to store.
- Press PROG again.
- Press the desired memory location button (e.g., M1-M10 or 0-9, refer to specific button labels on your device).
- To Dial a Stored Number: Lift the handset or press SPEAKER, then press the memory location button.
Other Functions
- Redial: Press REDIAL to call the last dialed number.
- Mute: Press MUTE during a call to temporarily silence your microphone. The other party will not hear you. Press again to unmute.
- Hold: Press HOLD during a call to place the current call on hold. Press again to resume the call.
