3. Setup

1. Mounting the Microphone:
   • Attach the A50D Drum Microphone Mount to the rim of your drum (snare, tom, etc.). Ensure it is securely fastened.
   • Insert the PG56-LC microphone into the integrated stand mount on the A50D. Adjust the angle for optimal sound capture.
   • Alternatively, for other applications, attach the integrated stand mount directly to a standard microphone stand using the 5/8 to 3/8 inches thread adapter if necessary.
2. Connecting to Equipment:
   • Connect an XLR cable (not included with LC version) to the microphone's XLR output.
   • Connect the other end of the XLR cable to a microphone input on your mixing console, audio interface, or digital recorder.
   • Ensure phantom power is turned OFF on your mixer/interface, as the PG56-LC is a dynamic microphone and does not require it.

• Internal Shock Mount: The integrated internal shock mount helps to reduce handling noise and vibrations transmitted through the stand or drum mount, ensuring a cleaner audio signal.
