Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio.
- Slide or lift the cover to open the compartment.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Initial Power On
Press the POWER button to turn on the radio. The digital display will illuminate.
Operating Instructions
Tuning to a Station
- Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM and Shortwave reception.
- Use the Band Selector Switch on the side to choose between FM, AM, SW1, or SW2 bands.
- Rotate the Tuning Dial (analog tuner) on the side to scan for stations. The digital display will show the approximate frequency.
- Adjust the tuning dial finely until the desired station is clear.
Setting the Clock
- With the radio off, press and hold the TIME button.
- While holding TIME, press the HOUR button to adjust the hour.
- While holding TIME, press the MIN button to adjust the minute.
- Release the TIME button to save the setting.
Setting the Alarm
- With the radio off, press and hold the ALARM button.
- While holding ALARM, press the HOUR button to adjust the alarm hour.
- While holding ALARM, press the MIN button to adjust the alarm minute.
- Release the ALARM button to save the setting. The alarm icon will appear on the display.
- To disable the alarm, press the ALARM button once when the radio is off. The alarm icon will disappear.
Using Headphones
Plug 3.5 mm headphones into the headphone jack located on the side of the radio for private listening. The internal speaker will automatically mute.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the display dims or audio quality deteriorates. Refer to the 'Battery Installation' section for instructions.
