25 Programmable G-Keys

The G13 features 25 programmable keys, allowing users to assign keyboard functions, macros, or multi-key commands. With three game modes, up to 87 unique commands can be configured. Macros can be created on the fly without interrupting gameplay.

High-Visibility GamePanel LCD

A 160-by-43-pixel LCD display provides real-time information such as game statistics, system performance data, and communication messages. This display offers a tactical advantage by keeping critical information visible without requiring interruption to the main screen.

Customizable Backlighting

Backlit keys ensure visibility in low-light conditions. Users can select from hundreds of available backlight colors to personalize the gameboard's appearance.

Onboard Memory

The G13 includes onboard memory capable of storing up to five ready-to-play profiles. This allows users to transport their personalized settings for use on different systems without re-configuration.

Programming G-Keys

Use the Logitech Gaming Software to assign functions to the 25 programmable G-keys. You can assign single keystrokes, complex macros, or even launch applications. Profiles can be created for specific games or applications, allowing the gameboard to automatically switch configurations.

• Macro Recording: The G13 supports on-the-fly macro recording. Press the MR key, then the G-key you wish to program, perform your sequence of keystrokes, and press MR again to save.
• Game Modes: Utilize the M1, M2, and M3 keys to switch between three distinct game modes, each with its own set of G-key assignments. This effectively triples the number of available commands per profile.

Using the GamePanel LCD

The GamePanel LCD provides various information displays. Use the navigation buttons located below the screen to cycle through different applets, which may include:

• Game statistics
• System performance (CPU usage, RAM usage)
• Clock and date
• Countdown timer/stopwatch
• RSS feeds (requires software configuration)

Customizing Backlighting

The Logitech Gaming Software allows you to select a custom backlight color for your G13 Gameboard. This setting can be applied globally or configured per profile/game mode.

G-keys/buttons aren't working properly

• Operating System Compatibility: Ensure your computer is running at least Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard), Mac OS 10.7.4 (Lion), or Mac OS 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion). Support for G-keys/buttons is provided with these operating systems.
• Logitech Gaming Software: Check that the Logitech Gaming Software is running. Look for the G icon in the Menu Bar Extras (Mac) or system tray (Windows). If not running, launch it.
• Correct Profile Running: Verify that the correct profile is active for your game or application. Each game can have a profile attached to its executable file to start automatically. To check, launch the Logitech Gaming Software, edit the profile, and associate it with your game's executable. When you start your game, the associated profile's name is displayed for five seconds on your device's display.
• Software and Driver Installation: Confirm that the Logitech Gaming Software and drivers were installed correctly. If installation was from a CD-ROM, consider a full re-installation or download the latest software from www.logitech.com.
• Persistent and Default Profiles: Ensure settings for your persistent and default profiles are correct. If a persistent profile is selected, profiles linked to specific games may be ignored. Refer to the software documentation for details on persistent and default profiles.

Gameboard Not Detected

• USB Connection: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the gameboard and the computer. Try a different USB port.
• USB Hubs: If using a USB hub, try connecting the gameboard directly to a USB port on your computer.
• Driver Reinstallation: Uninstall and reinstall the Logitech Gaming Software and drivers.

The Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard comes with a 1-year limited hardware warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Please retain your proof of purchase for warranty claims.
