Setup Guide
1. Attaching the Stand
Locate the detachable stand. Align the stand with the slot on the back of the digital photo frame. Gently push the stand into place until it clicks securely. Ensure the frame is stable on a flat surface.
2. Power Connection
Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the frame. Plug the other end of the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The frame should power on automatically or enter standby mode.
3. Inserting Memory Cards or USB Drives
The Coby DP702 supports various memory card types (SD, MMC, MS, xD, CF) and USB flash drives. Insert your desired memory card into the corresponding slot or plug your USB drive into the USB port. Ensure the card/drive is inserted correctly and fully.
Note: The device does not have internal memory. A memory card or USB drive is required to display photos, play music, or videos.
Operating Instructions
Basic Navigation
Use the buttons on the back of the frame or the included remote control to navigate the menus. The primary navigation buttons typically include: MENU, ENTER, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT.
- MENU: Access the main menu or return to the previous screen.

Viewing Photos
Once a memory card or USB drive with JPEG images is inserted, the frame will typically start a slideshow automatically. You can also manually select the "Photo" option from the main menu.
- Press LEFT/RIGHT to move between photos during manual viewing.
- Press PLAY/PAUSE (on remote) to start or pause the slideshow.
- Access photo settings (e.g., slideshow interval, transition effects) through the MENU.
Playing Music and Videos
Select "Music" or "Video" from the main menu. Navigate to your desired file and press ENTER to play. The frame supports MP3/WMA for music and Motion JPEG, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 (XviD) for video.
- Use VOLUME +/- on the remote to adjust audio levels.
- Use FF/REW buttons for fast forward/rewind.
Calendar and Clock
Select "Calendar" from the main menu to view the current date and time. You can set the time and alarm through the system settings.
Maintenance
- Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the display.
