Setup

  4. Power Connection: Ensure the power outlet matches the unit's electrical specifications (120V, 60Hz, 1-phase). Plug the NEMA 5-15P plug into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Plug the unit into a suitable electrical outlet. The red safety signal light will illuminate, indicating the unit is receiving power and heating.
  2. Temperature Control: Turn the variable heat control knob to the desired setting. The temperature range is approximately 155°F to 205°F. Start with a lower setting and adjust as needed to maintain the desired food temperature.
  3. Food Placement: Place food directly on the stainless steel warming surface or use appropriate heat-safe containers, such as a 1/2 size steam table pan, which the surface can accommodate.
  4. Monitoring: Periodically check food temperature to ensure it remains within safe serving temperatures.
  5. Power Off: When finished, turn the heat control knob to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning or storing.

Note: The red signal light will cycle on and off during operation, indicating that the thermostat is maintaining the set temperature.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your warming shelf.

  1. Cool Down: Always ensure the unit is unplugged and completely cool before attempting any cleaning.
