  3. Wipe the exterior of the heating base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base in water.

Setup

  1. Place the rice cooker on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to ensure proper ventilation.
  2. Ensure the power cord is not obstructed and is within reach of a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Cooking Rice

The included measuring cup is designed for rice cooker use and is approximately 3/4 of a standard US cup.

  1. Measure the desired amount of rice using the provided measuring cup. For best results, rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Place the rinsed rice into the non-stick inner pot.
  3. Add the appropriate amount of water. A general guideline is 1.5 to 2 measuring cups of water for every 1 measuring cup of rice. Adjust water levels based on rice type and desired consistency. The inner pot may have water level markings for guidance.
  4. Place the inner pot into the heating base, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  5. Cover the inner pot with the tempered glass lid. Ensure the steam vent is clear.
  6. Plug the power cord into a 100V AC electrical outlet.
  7. Press the control switch down to the "COOK" position. The cook indicator light will illuminate.
  8. Once the rice is cooked, the cooker will automatically switch to the "WARM" setting, and the warm indicator light will illuminate.
  9. Allow the rice to rest on "WARM" for 5-10 minutes before serving. This allows for even moisture distribution.
  10. Unplug the cooker and use the serving ladle to fluff and serve the rice.

Steaming Food

The steaming tray allows you to steam vegetables, fish, or other foods while rice cooks below, or independently.

  1. Add water to the inner pot. Ensure the water level is below the bottom of the steaming tray when placed inside.
  2. Place the food to be steamed into the steaming tray. Do not overcrowd the tray to allow for proper steam circulation.
  3. Place the steaming tray into the inner pot.
  4. Cover with the tempered glass lid.
  5. Plug the power cord into a 100V AC electrical outlet.
  6. Press the control switch down to the "COOK" position.
  7. Monitor the food for desired doneness. Steaming times vary based on the type and quantity of food.
  8. Once steaming is complete, carefully remove the lid (steam will be hot) and use heat-resistant gloves to remove the steaming tray.
  9. Unplug the cooker.

Keep Warm Function

The rice cooker automatically switches to the "WARM" function once the cooking cycle is complete. This feature keeps your food at an optimal serving temperature. It is recommended not to leave food on the "WARM" setting for more than a few hours to maintain food quality and safety.

Care and Cleaning

Proper care and cleaning will extend the life of your rice cooker.

  1. Always unplug the rice cooker from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. The inner pot, steamer tray, glass lid, measuring cup, and serving ladle are dishwasher safe or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the non-stick coating of the inner pot.
  3. To clean the heating base, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid.
  4. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing or next use.
