1. Introduction

The Coby DTV102 ATSC Standard-Definition Converter Box is designed to convert over-the-air Digital Television (DTV) signals for use with older standard definition televisions (480i). 3. Setup

3.1 Connecting the Converter Box

1. Connect Antenna: Connect your outdoor or indoor antenna to the "ANT IN" (RF IN) coaxial input on the back of the DTV102 converter box.
2. Connect to TV:
   • For standard definition (480i) TVs, connect the RCA (Red/White/Yellow) audio/video cables from the "AUDIO L/R" and "VIDEO OUT" ports on the DTV102 to the corresponding input ports on your television.
   • Alternatively, you can use a coaxial cable to connect the "RF OUT" port on the DTV102 to the "ANT IN" (RF IN) port on your television.
3. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the "DC IN" port on the DTV102 and then into a standard electrical outlet.
4. Insert Batteries into Remote: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert 2 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity.

3.2 Initial Channel Scan

1. Power on your television and select the correct input source (e.g., AV1, Video, TV/Antenna) that corresponds to the connection made in step 3.1.
2. Power on the Coby DTV102 using the power button on the unit or the remote control.
3. The first time you power on the unit, it may automatically prompt you to perform a channel scan. If not, press the "MENU" button on the remote, navigate to "Channel Search" or "Auto Scan," and confirm to start the scan.

• Mute: Press the MUTE button on the remote to temporarily silence the audio. Press again to restore.

• Press the EPG button on the remote control.
• Use the arrow buttons to navigate through channels and program listings.
• Press OK or INFO to view detailed information about a selected program.
• Press EXIT to leave the EPG menu.

Access various settings and features through the main menu.

• Press the MENU button on the remote.
• Use the arrow buttons (UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT) to navigate through menu options.
• Press OK to select an option or confirm a setting.
• Press EXIT to return to the previous menu or exit the menu entirely.
