  • If the air intake mode is moved to front defrost positions, the system will automatically turn on A/C and set the air intake to fresh to optimize defrosting by dehumidifying the interior air. You cannot change these settings manually while in defrost mode.
  • For fastest windshield defrosting, set the air to full speed and temperature control to full warm.
  • For maximum heating, turn the temperature control to full warm, fan control to full speed, and air mode to floor.

Automatic Air Conditioning

  • To start the system, press the AUTO button. Turn the temperature control to the desired temperature setting. A green indicator light will illuminate above the text on the AUTO button, indicating that the system is in full auto mode.
  • Once the inside temperature rises or lowers to the desired temperature setting, the fan speed may increase or decrease.
  • To override the automatic system, turn the fan control dial to adjust the fan speed. The green AUTO indicator light will turn off. To discharge from a different vent, press the MODE selector switch.
  • To turn off the system, press the OFF switch.
