Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the alarm clock.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert one (1) AAA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
The clock will power on automatically. You may hear a short beep, and the display will show default settings.
Operating Instructions
Setting Time and Date
- In normal time display mode, press and hold the MODE/SET button for approximately 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will start flashing.
- Use the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press MODE/SET again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) buttons to adjust the minutes.
- Continue pressing MODE/SET to cycle through and set the following: Year → Month → Day → 12/24 Hour Format → Language for Day of Week (7 options).
- Use the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) buttons to adjust each value.
- Press MODE/SET one last time to exit setting mode and save your changes.
Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2)
- In normal time display mode, press the ALARM/WORLD button once to display Alarm 1 time.
- Press the ALARM/WORLD button again to display Alarm 2 time.
- To set an alarm, while the desired alarm time (e.g., AL1) is displayed, press and hold the MODE/SET button for approximately 3 seconds. The alarm hour digits will flash.
- Use the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press MODE/SET to confirm the hour and move to alarm minute setting.
- Use the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) buttons to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Press MODE/SET to exit alarm setting mode.
- To activate or deactivate an alarm, press the ALARM/WORLD button to display the alarm time, then press the UP (▲) button. An alarm icon will appear on the display when active.
Snooze Function and Backlight
- When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT bar at the top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-10 minutes).
- To turn off a sounding alarm completely, press any other button (e.g., MODE/SET, ALARM/WORLD).
- To activate the backlight, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT bar at any time. The backlight will illuminate for a few seconds.
World Time Display
- In normal time display mode, press the ALARM/WORLD button repeatedly until the world time display appears. The display will show the time for a selected city.
- Use the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) buttons to scroll through the 32 available world cities.
- The clock can synchronize local and world time. Refer to the display for indicators.
- Press MODE/SET to return to normal time display.
Temperature Display
The indoor temperature is continuously displayed on the screen. No specific setting is required for this feature.
Maintenance
