2. Safety Information

WARNING: To prevent fire and electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture. Do not remove the cover. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

• Avoid placing the unit near heat sources.

3. Setup and Installation

3.2 Rigging and Array Configuration

For suspended applications, utilize the integral rigging hardware to connect up to five VRX932LAP units. An optional array frame (e.g., VRX-AF) is available for secure suspension. The Array Configuration Selector allows for "array shading" in passive mode, optimizing sound distribution for different venue sizes.

3.3 Connections

The VRX932LAP features XLR connectivity for audio input and output. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the unit.

4. Operating Instructions

The VRX932LAP incorporates a built-in JBL DrivePack DPC-2 amplifier module, designed by Crown, providing 1750 Watts of peak power. This integrated amplifier simplifies setup and ensures optimal performance.

4.1 Powering On/Off

1. Connect the power cord to a suitable power outlet (90 Volts input voltage).
2. Ensure all audio connections are made.
3. Turn on the power switch located on the rear panel.
4. To power off, reverse the sequence.

4.2 Audio Input and Output

Connect your audio source to the XLR input. If linking multiple speakers, use the XLR output to connect to the next unit in the chain. The speaker operates in mono audio output mode.

9.1 Warranty Information

JBL offers a limited warranty on professional loudspeaker products. The warranty on professional loudspeaker products (except for enclosures) remains in effect for five years from the date of the first consumer purchase. JBL amplifiers are warranted for three years from the date of the original purchase. Enclosures and all other JBL products are warranted for two years from the date of the original purchase.

Your JBL warranty protects the original owner and all subsequent owners as long as: a.) your JBL product has been purchased in the continental United States, Hawaii or Alaska (this warranty does not apply to JBL products purchased elsewhere except for purchases by military outlets. Other purchasers should contact the local JBL distributor for warranty information); and b.) the original dated bill of sale is presented whenever warranty service is required.

Except as specified below, your JBL warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship. The following are not covered: damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, product modification or neglect; damage occurring during shipment; damage resulting from failure to follow instructions contained in your instruction manual; damage resulting from the performance of repairs by someone not authorized by JBL; claims based upon any misrepresentations by the seller; any JBL product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed. JBL will pay all labor and material expenses for all repairs covered by this warranty.
