Game Objective
Your primary objective is to destroy all enemy starships within a given star system and then warp to the next system to continue the fight. Survive as long as possible, accumulate points, and protect friendly starbases.
Gameplay Mechanics
- Navigation: Use your joystick to steer your ship. The radar display helps you locate enemies and friendly bases.
- Combat: Engage enemy fighters by aligning your crosshairs and firing your lasers. Avoid enemy fire to preserve your shields and hull integrity.
- Shields & Energy: Your ship has shields that absorb damage. Energy is consumed by firing lasers and using warp drive. Dock at friendly starbases to recharge shields and energy.
- Warp Drive: When available, use the warp drive to travel between star systems. This consumes a significant amount of energy.
- Docking: Approach a friendly starbase slowly and align your ship to dock. This will repair damage, recharge shields, and replenish energy.
Scoring
Points are awarded for destroying enemy ships. Higher difficulty settings and more advanced enemy types may yield greater scores. Your score is displayed on the screen during gameplay.
Game Variations
Use the GAME SELECT switch to choose from various game modes, which may alter starting conditions, enemy behavior, or available resources. Experiment to find your preferred challenge level.
