1. Introduction

2. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Carnation CR2 Money Counter:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the money counter from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future transport or storage.
  2. Placement: Place the machine on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the machine's power input port located at the rear. Plug the other end into a standard AC 110V/60HZ (or 220V/50HZ, depending on model) electrical outlet.
  4. Power On: Locate the power switch, typically on the rear or side of the unit. Flip the switch to the "ON" position. The machine will perform a self-test upon startup.

  1. Prepare Bills: Ensure bills are neatly stacked, free from folds, tears, or foreign objects like paper clips.
  2. Load Bills: Place the stack of bills into the feeder hopper. The machine will automatically start counting.

The CR2 offers three counting speeds: 800, 1200, and 1500 bills per minute. Use the speed selection buttons on the control panel to adjust the counting speed according to the condition of the banknotes or your preference.

The Batch function allows you to count bills into preset quantities.

  1. Press the "BATCH" button on the touchscreen.
  2. Enter the desired batch quantity using the numeric keypad.
  3. Load bills into the hopper. The machine will count until the preset batch quantity is reached, then pause. Remove the batch and the machine will resume counting for the next batch.

3.4 Add Function

The Add function accumulates the total count of multiple stacks of bills.

  1. Press the "ADD" button on the touchscreen.
  2. Load the first stack of bills. The machine will count them.
  3. Load subsequent stacks. The machine will add each new count to the running total.
  4. Press "ADD" again to exit the function and clear the total.

4. Counterfeit Detection

The Carnation CR2 is equipped with multiple detection methods to identify counterfeit banknotes:

If a suspicious bill is detected, the machine will typically stop counting and display an error code. Remove the suspect bill and press a designated button (refer to the touchscreen interface) to resume counting.
