2.2 Key Features

3. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and stickers from the fryer. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the frying basket, removable frying pot, and lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The heating element should only be wiped with a damp cloth; never immerse it in water.
  3. Assembly:
    • Place the removable frying pot securely into the fryer body.
    • Insert the heating element into its designated slot, ensuring it is properly seated.
    • Slide the condensation cup into the slot at the back of the fryer.
    • Place the frying basket inside the pot, ensuring it aligns correctly with the central shaft for proper operation.
    • Close the lid securely.
  4. Placement: Position the fryer on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate clearance from walls and other appliances for ventilation.
  5. Oil Filling: Pour cooking oil into the removable frying pot. Do not exceed the maximum fill line or go below the minimum fill line. The fryer requires approximately 2.6 liters of oil.
  6. Power Connection: Attach the magnetic safety plug to the fryer's power inlet, then plug the other end into a grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Pre-heating

  1. Ensure the fryer is assembled correctly and filled with oil.
  2. Set the desired frying temperature using the programmable thermostat dial. Refer to your recipe for recommended temperatures.
  3. The green temperature-ready light will illuminate when the oil has reached the set temperature. This may take several minutes.

4.2 Frying Food

  1. Once the oil is pre-heated, carefully open the lid using the 'OPEN' lever.
  2. Place food into the frying basket. Do not overload the basket; fry in small batches to maintain oil temperature and ensure even cooking. The maximum food capacity is 0.6 kg.
  3. Lower the basket slowly into the hot oil. Close the lid.
  4. Set the cooking time using the timer dial. The fryer will automatically turn off the heating element when the timer expires.
  5. Monitor the cooking process through the lid's viewing window if available.

4.3 Using Smart Spin Technology

  1. After the food has finished frying and the timer has elapsed, lift the frying basket out of the oil using the cool-touch handle.
  2. Ensure the basket is securely locked in the raised position above the oil.
  3. Press the 'SPIN' button (red button on the control panel). The basket will rotate rapidly, using centrifugal force to remove excess oil from the fried food.
  4. Allow the spin cycle to complete. This process helps reduce the fat content of your fried items.
  5. Carefully open the lid and remove the basket. Transfer the food to a serving dish lined with paper towels to absorb any remaining oil.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your deep fryer. Always ensure the fryer is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.

  1. Cooling Oil: Allow the oil to cool completely, which may take several hours. Never attempt to drain hot oil.
  2. Draining Oil: Carefully pour the cooled oil into a suitable, sealable container for disposal or storage. Do not pour oil down the drain.
  3. Dishwasher-Safe Parts: The frying basket, removable frying pot, and lid are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
  4. Heating Element: The heating element and electrical housing should never be immersed in water. Wipe them clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. Be careful not to damage the thin wires.
  5. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the fryer body with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  6. Condensation Cup: Empty and clean the condensation cup after each use.
  7. Storage: Store the clean and dry fryer in a cool, dry place.
