4. Setup

  1. Battery Installation: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Open the compartment cover, insert one 9V alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
  2. Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Uneven surfaces can affect accuracy.

  3. The weight will be displayed on the LCD screen in the selected unit.

5.4 Tare Function (Zeroing)

The Tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients in the same container or to subtract the weight of a container.

  1. Place an empty container on the scale platform. The display will show its weight.
  2. Press the ZERO button. The display will reset to "0" or "0.0".
  3. Add the ingredient you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the weight of the added ingredient.
  4. Repeat the process for additional ingredients.
