Filling the Grinder

Operating Instructions

Adjusting the Grind Setting

The Zassenhaus Berlin grinder features a 6-position dial at the base of the grinding mechanism, allowing you to select your desired grind from very fine to coarse. This setting remains consistent until manually changed.

  1. Turn the grinder upside down.
  2. Locate the adjustment ring at the bottom of the grinding mechanism.
  3. Rotate the ring to select one of the 6 predefined settings. A higher number typically indicates a coarser grind.

Grinding Spices

  1. Ensure the grinder is filled with your desired spice (peppercorns or salt).
  2. Hold the body of the grinder with one hand.
  3. With the other hand, turn the top part of the grinder clockwise to begin grinding.
  4. Continue turning until the desired amount of spice is dispensed.
