2. Safety Instructions
- This device is intended for indoor use only. Do not expose it to moisture, direct sunlight, or extreme temperatures.
- Ensure the total load of connected appliances does not exceed the maximum rating of 16 A / 3680 W. Overloading can cause damage to the timer and connected devices, and poses a fire hazard.

3.1. Control Buttons and Display
The timer features an LCD display and several buttons for setting the time and programming functions:
- MASTER CLEAR: Resets all settings and programs to factory defaults.
- WEEK: Sets the day of the week.
- HOUR: Sets the hour.
- MINUTE: Sets the minute.
- RST/RCL: Resets a specific program or recalls a program.
- CLOCK: Used in conjunction with WEEK, HOUR, MINUTE to set the current time.
- TIMER: Enters or exits programming mode.
- ON/AUTO/OFF: Selects the operating mode (Always ON, Automatic, Always OFF).
- RANDOM: Activates or deactivates the random function.

4. Initial Setup
4.1. First Use and Backup Battery
Before first use, plug the timer into a live wall socket for approximately 5-10 minutes to charge the internal backup battery. This battery ensures that your settings are retained for up to 4 days in case of a power outage or when the timer is unplugged.

4.2. Master Clear
To clear all current settings and programs, press the MASTER CLEAR button using a pointed object (e.g., a pen tip). The display will show '0:00' and all settings will be reset.
5. Setting the Current Time
Follow these steps to set the current day and time:
- Press and hold the CLOCK button.
- While holding CLOCK, press WEEK repeatedly until the correct day of the week is displayed (MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU).
- While holding CLOCK, press HOUR repeatedly until the correct hour is displayed.
- While holding CLOCK, press MINUTE repeatedly until the correct minute is displayed.
- Release the CLOCK button. The current time is now set.
6. Operating Modes
The timer has three main operating modes, selected by pressing the ON/AUTO/OFF button:
- ON: The connected appliance is continuously powered ON, ignoring all programmed settings.
- AUTO: The connected appliance operates according to the programmed ON/OFF times. This is the standard mode for automatic control.
- OFF: The connected appliance is continuously powered OFF, ignoring all programmed settings.
Ensure the timer is set to AUTO mode for your programs to execute.
7. Programming Timer Events
The timer allows you to set up to 10 different ON/OFF programs. Each program can be set for a specific day, a group of days, or all days of the week.

7.1. Setting an ON/OFF Program
- Press the TIMER button once. The display will show '1 ON'. This indicates you are setting the first ON time.
- Press WEEK repeatedly to select the desired day(s) for this program. Options include individual days, weekdays, weekends, or all days.
- Press HOUR repeatedly to set the desired hour for the ON time.
- Press MINUTE repeatedly to set the desired minute for the ON time.
- Press the TIMER button again. The display will show '1 OFF'. This indicates you are setting the first OFF time.
- Repeat steps 2-4 to set the desired day(s), hour, and minute for the OFF time.
- To set additional programs (up to 10), press TIMER again and repeat steps 1-6 for '2 ON', '2 OFF', and so on.
- After setting all desired programs, press the CLOCK button to exit programming mode and return to the current time display.
7.2. Reviewing and Deleting Programs
- To review your programs, press the TIMER button repeatedly. Each press will cycle through the ON/OFF times of your programs.
- To delete a specific program, navigate to the desired ON or OFF setting using the TIMER button, then press the RST/RCL button. This will clear the time for that specific ON or OFF event.
8. Random Function
The random function is designed to simulate occupancy, which can be useful for security purposes. When activated, the timer will randomly switch the connected appliance ON for 10-31 minutes during the period from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
8.1. Activating/Deactivating Random Function
- Ensure the timer is in AUTO mode.
- Press the RANDOM button. The display will show 'R' to indicate the random function is active.
- To deactivate, press the RANDOM button again. The 'R' indicator will disappear.
9. Maintenance
- Clean the timer with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure the timer is unplugged from the wall socket before cleaning.
- Store the timer in a cool, dry place when not in use.
10. Troubleshooting
- Display is blank: The internal backup battery may be depleted. Plug the timer into a live socket for 5-10 minutes to charge it. If the issue persists, the timer may be faulty.
- Programs are not running: Ensure the timer is set to AUTO mode. Check that the current time is set correctly and that the ON/OFF programs are properly configured.
- Appliance does not turn ON/OFF: Verify the appliance is correctly plugged into the timer and is functioning independently. Check the timer's operating mode (should be AUTO).
- All settings lost after power outage: The backup battery may not be sufficiently charged or may be at the end of its lifespan. Ensure the timer is regularly plugged in to maintain battery charge.
