2. Setup

2.1. Battery Installation

1. Carefully open the back panel of the clock.
2. Insert one (1) AA battery into the battery compartment, ensuring the polarity (+/-) matches the indicators. The clock requires one AA battery, which is included.
3. Close the back panel securely.

2.2. Setting the Time

1. Locate the time setting knob on the back of the clock mechanism.
2. Gently turn the knob clockwise to set the correct time.
3. Ensure the hour and minute hands are aligned accurately.

3.1. Chime Selection

Your SEIKO Sayo Mantel Clock offers two distinct chime melodies: Westminster and Whittington. Locate the chime selection switch on the back of the clock mechanism. Move the switch to select your preferred chime.

3.2. Chime Schedule

The clock chimes every quarter hour and strikes on each hour, counting the hours. It also features an automatic nighttime chime silencer to ensure a peaceful environment during sleeping hours.

3.3. Volume Control

Adjust the chime volume using the volume control knob located on the back of the clock. Turn the knob to increase or decrease the sound level to your desired preference. The chimes can also be turned off completely if desired.

4.1. Cleaning
