Setup and Installation

This trim is designed for easy installation into compatible 4-inch recessed lighting housings. Ensure power is OFF before proceeding.

1. Prepare the Housing: Ensure the recessed housing is properly installed and wired according to local electrical codes. The housing should be a 4-inch model compatible with 12V MR-16 lamps.
2. Install the Lamp: Carefully insert a 50-watt 12V MR-16 lamp into the lamp holder within the recessed housing. Ensure it is seated securely. (Lamp not included)
3. Insert the Trim: Align the P8057-36 eyeball trim with the opening of the recessed housing. Gently push the trim upwards until the retention clips (if present on your housing) engage and hold the trim firmly in place.
4. Secure the Trim: Ensure the trim is flush with the ceiling surface. Adjust as necessary.
5. Restore Power: Once the trim is securely installed, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operation

The P8057-36 trim allows for directional lighting adjustment.

• Adjusting Light Direction: Gently grasp the outer ring of the eyeball and rotate it 360 degrees to direct light horizontally.
• Tilting the Eyeball: The eyeball can be tilted up to 30 degrees to aim light vertically. Carefully push or pull the eyeball to achieve the desired angle.

Note: Avoid excessive force when adjusting the eyeball to prevent damage to the mechanism.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the trim with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
• Lamp Replacement: Disconnect power before replacing the lamp. Allow the lamp to cool completely. Carefully remove the old MR-16 lamp and insert a new 50-watt 12V MR-16 lamp. Ensure the new lamp is securely seated before restoring power.
