5.1 Function Dial

This dial selects the desired cooking mode:

  • Toast: For toasting bread, bagels, and frozen waffles.
  • Bake: For baking items like cookies, cakes, and casseroles. Utilizes convection for even heating.
  • Broil: For broiling meats, fish, or browning the tops of dishes.
  • Reheat: For warming up leftovers.

5.2 Temperature Dial

This dial sets the cooking temperature from 200°F (93°C) up to 450°F (232°C). Always preheat the oven for 5-10 minutes before placing food inside for optimal results, especially for baking.

5.3 Timer Dial

The 60-minute timer dial allows you to set the cooking duration. It features an auto-off function and an audible signal when the time expires. For continuous cooking, turn the dial past the 'Stay On' mark.

5.4 Rack Positions

The oven features two rack positions for flexibility. Use the upper position for broiling or when cooking smaller items. Use the lower position for baking larger items or when using both racks simultaneously, such as with two 12-inch pizzas.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your oven.

  1. Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Crumb Tray: The swing-open crumb tray can be easily removed for cleaning. Slide it out and discard crumbs. Wash in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
  3. Oven Racks and Broiler Pan: Wash these accessories in warm, soapy water. For stubborn food residue, soak them before scrubbing. They are not dishwasher safe.
  4. Interior: Wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as they can damage the non-stick coating.
  5. Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
  6. Do not immerse the oven unit in water or any other liquid.
