6. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to achieve desired curl and wave styles:

  1. Prepare Hair: Ensure your hair is clean, dry, and thoroughly detangled. Brush through your hair to remove any knots.
  2. Select Roller: Choose a roller size appropriate for the desired curl. For tighter curls, use smaller rollers; for looser waves, use larger rollers.
  3. Section Hair: Take a 1-inch section of hair. For best results, start with sections from the top of your head.
  4. Roll Hair: Place the end of the hair section on the roller and wind the hair towards the scalp. Ensure the hair is wrapped smoothly and evenly around the roller.

  5. Secure Roller: Use a color-coded stainless steel clip to secure the roller firmly in place against your scalp.
  6. Repeat: Continue rolling sections of hair until all desired areas are covered.
  7. Cooling Time:
    • For bouncy curls and volume: Leave rollers in for 20 minutes or more.
    • For looser waves: Leave rollers in for 10 minutes or less.
    • Allow rollers to cool completely in your hair for optimal curl retention.
  8. Remove Rollers: Once the rollers are cool to the touch, gently remove them one at a time. Start from the bottom back of your head to avoid disturbing other curls. Unroll the hair carefully, making sure not to pull or tug.
  9. Style Hair: For bouncy, voluminous curls and waves, gently comb through your hair with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. For extra hold, finish with a light application of hairspray.

7. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Ensure the unit is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the heating unit and rollers with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
  • Storage: Store the hot roller set in a cool, dry place. The clips can be stored inside the heating unit for convenience. Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
