4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your airbrush system:

5. Operating Instructions

Once your system is set up, follow these steps for operation:

1. Turn On Compressor: Flip the power switch on the compressor to the 'ON' position. The compressor will run until the air tank is fully pressurized, then it will automatically shut off. It will restart automatically when air pressure drops during use.
2. Adjust Air Pressure: Use the pressure regulator knob on the compressor to set the desired air pressure. Turn clockwise to increase pressure, counter-clockwise to decrease. The gauge will display the current output pressure.
3. Prepare Paint: Thin your acrylic paints as needed for optimal flow through the airbrush. Refer to the paint manufacturer's recommendations or experiment with the included reducer.
4. Fill Fluid Cup: Carefully pour the prepared paint into the 1/3 oz fluid cup of the G44 airbrush.
5. Begin Airbrushing:
   • Hold the airbrush approximately 2-6 inches from your surface.
   • For dual-action control, press down on the trigger to release air.
   • Pull back on the trigger to release paint. The further back you pull, the more paint will be released.
   • Adjust the preset fluid control knob at the rear of the airbrush to limit how far back the needle can travel, providing consistent paint flow.
   • Practice on scrap material to get a feel for the airbrush's response and achieve desired spray patterns.
6. Finish Session: When finished, turn off the compressor and release any remaining air pressure from the system by gently pressing the airbrush trigger until the gauge reads zero.
