- Time Zone Adjustment (if necessary): If the automatically set time is incorrect due to time zone differences, press the TIME ZONE button repeatedly until your local time zone is displayed.
- Connect Lamp: Plug the lamp you wish to control into the outlet on the bottom or side of the timer. Ensure the lamp's switch is in the ON position.

- Press the TIME button to adjust the current hour and minute. Use the UP or DOWN buttons. Pay attention to AM/PM indication.
Programming On/Off Cycles
The timer allows for two distinct ON/OFF programs. Follow these steps to set your desired schedule:
- Press the PROGRAM button once. The display will show "PROGRAM 1 ON".
- Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the desired ON time for Program 1.
- Press PROGRAM again. The display will show "PROGRAM 1 OFF".
- Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the desired OFF time for Program 1.
- To set Program 2, press PROGRAM again. Repeat steps 2-4 for "PROGRAM 2 ON" and "PROGRAM 2 OFF".
- After setting both programs, press the MODE button repeatedly until "AUTO" is displayed. This activates the programmed schedule.
Note: The timer can be set for specific days of the week or all days. When setting ON/OFF times, the day indicators (M TU W TH F SA S) can be adjusted using the MODE button during the programming step to cycle through day combinations (e.g., weekdays, weekends, all days, individual days).
Using Security Mode (Random Function)
The security mode randomly varies the ON/OFF times to give the appearance of someone being home.
- Press the MODE button repeatedly until "RANDOM" is displayed.
- In this mode, the timer will turn the connected lamp ON and OFF at slightly varied times around your programmed schedule, or within a pre-defined random interval if no specific programs are active.
Manual ON/OFF Override
To manually turn the connected lamp ON or OFF, overriding the current program or mode:
- Press the ON/OFF button. This will toggle the lamp's power state.
- To return to the programmed schedule or selected mode, press the MODE button until "AUTO" or "RANDOM" is displayed again.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the timer from the power outlet before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Battery: The timer contains a built-in, long-life lithium backup battery designed to retain settings during power interruptions. This battery is not user-replaceable.
