2. Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure the mounting surface on your caravan or motorhome is clean and flat. Verify that the cut-out diameter on your vehicle matches the cap's specifications for a proper fit.

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Opening: Ensure the existing or new cut-out in your vehicle's body has a diameter of 8 cm.
2. Position the Cap: Place the Fiamma Locking Water Cap into the prepared opening, ensuring the breather tube (10mm) and main tube (4cm x 40mm) align correctly with your water tank's inlet.
3. Secure the Cap: Use appropriate screws (not included) to fasten the cap's flange securely to the vehicle body. Ensure a watertight seal using a suitable sealant if necessary (sealant not included).
4. Test for Leaks: After installation, fill your water tank and check for any leaks around the newly installed cap.

3. Operating Instructions

Filling the Water Tank:

1. Unlock the Cap: Insert the provided key into the lock cylinder and turn it to the unlock position.
2. Remove the Cap: Gently pull the cap outwards to remove it from the water inlet.
3. Fill Tank: Insert your water hose into the inlet and fill the tank to the desired level. The integrated breather tube allows air to escape during filling.
4. Replace and Lock Cap: Once filling is complete, reinsert the cap firmly into the inlet. Turn the key to the lock position and remove it to secure the cap.

Always ensure the cap is securely locked when the vehicle is in motion or unattended to prevent water spillage and unauthorized access.
